We are planning to take our MH to Vancouver via Banff and other points of interest in July. Glacier National Park certainly is of interest, but we are concerned about taking a class A through mountains. We also are open to traveling through more of Canada if there is recommendations east of Banff. Please give us your best ideas as there is so much to see. We have about six weeks.

I would look into reserving some campsites along your way.. July is a busy time on both sides of the border.
The fuel in Canada is expensive so be prepared for a little bit of a shock.
Weather should be good so have a great trip.

If you head for the east side of Glacier NP you'll have no troubles. Take a tour bus within the park so you can enjoy things better, leave the RV at the campground; you won't be able to drive it over Going to the Sun Highway anyway. Stop at Many Glacier too, it is really nice and of course you will want to drive in to Waterton on your way north. Banff and Jasper are well worth your time, the highways are quite adequate for your Class A, then work your way southwest to Vancouver. You need to send to the Alberta, British Columbia, and Montana tourism departments for good info on CG's, tours, sites to visit, and other matters to make your trip memorable. I gurantee that you will be impressed with all the mountains that you will see, especially those in Banff NP. Have a good trip, don't forget passports and other stuff for the border crossings.
