I hope not! I am starting out to NY from the Kenai in about 11 days, 4 hours, or something like that. Not counting or anxious or anything. I spoke with a couple who may be on the forum who are not leaving AK until about the same time. They were heading from Homer to Fairbanks. Hope it is not as wet there as here.
I am in Anchorage until the 22nd or so, then heading south and planning on taking my time about it, to avoid ice on the road.
