Oregon-Bend to Portland
Can anyone describe Rt. 97 between Bend and Portland? Will be pulling a 40' fiver. Thanks.

97 to Madras 26 over Mt Hood to Portland. Easy4 hour drive. That used to be my main route home when we lived inPortland area. There is about 40 miles through the mountains that is 50ish and one 6% down hill from Government Camp take it slow and easy if your not used to mountain driving. Heck, if thepioneers could do it in their covered wagons and mules you certainally can make it
