The Pemex on the east side is NOT the one where the guy was robbed last winter, he stopped at one of the little ones south of there, and parked away from everything.
Going north, there is a turn just before the overpass-the old one, not the big new one. Going south, same thing, but you have to go under the overpass to get to the Pemex. It has wonderful showers, and there is a fenced, guarded compound where generators aren't run at night. We tipped a bit, like we always do, and had a great night there.
