We are taking the 5th to Peggy's Cove NS for 2 weeks in late August 2015, leaving the Toronto area. Two questions, any recommendations for overnight stop along the way.

We like the Grand Falls N.B. municipal campground http://www.tourismnewbrunswick.ca/Products/F/Falls-and-Gorge-Camping.aspx

Also Bay of Fundy National Park

X2 for King Neptune, not fancy but right on the water.

On our trip to PEI a few years back we stayed at the Quebec City KOA. For us from the Sarnia area it was a good 1/2 way point and was a nice place to overnight.

We had good stay in Hubards, near the dining/dance hall, just past the cemetery. With our toad we drove to Peggys Cove, thrilled on the way by the small coves with sailboats at anchor. Go the other way (a bit south of Hubards)) to get to Lunenburg, where Bluenose ll is moored in her home port.

King Neptune's Camping

Good Sam link to King Neptune Campground

Looks like a pretty view. I've been to Peggy's Cove twice. Pretty area.

DW and I stayed at King Neptune RV Park in 2013. It was a very short drive to Peggy's Cove. It was a very nice place to stay. It is right on the water. Very good sunsets. We paid $30.00. We would stay there again if we ever get the chance to go back.
