Hi from AZ. . . I would appreciate thoughts/suggestions for Phoenix to Glacier NP. End of May start, Have about 10 days to get to Calgary (co-pilot change) 28 ft tt following behind. Thanks, Craig

I encountered snow flurries at Lost Trail one June - but it was a wet and cold spring. There's a commercial ski lodge and hot springs a short ways down the Montana side of that pass. Also a hot springs and campground at Challis. And numerous free hot springs along ID75 and US93.

You could take ID75 from Twin Falls to Challis. This passes through Ketchum (Sun Valley) and follows the Salmon River starting at Stanley.

There is one significant pass on US93 - Lost Trail on the ID/MT border north of Salmon ID. It's one of 3 passes that the Lewis & Clark expedition took while looking for a way across the Rockies.

Avoids big cities & Interstates.(except for Lost Wages of course) I think I've talked that companion into 2 full weeks to Calgary which ought to give us time to enjoy. we take 93 from north of phoenix to polson mt, it continues to us 2 agood 2 lane all the way

Calgary is, to my knowledge, a straight shot north from East Glacier.

With your time constraints I would go I17 to I40 to I15 to US2. I have not been to Canada before so I cannot give you any directions on how t get to Calgary.
