Incorrect.
The refund for GST thing got stopped more than 6 years ago, i.e. that's when I moved from Newfoundland and I know it was stopped before that.

We used to go to Canada a lot, but stopped going because of the increasing hassle at the border crossings both going to and coming back from Canada. It is just sad the way things have progressed between our two countries.
