Road conditions
We will be traveling to Virginia from Connecticut on 287 to 78 to 81 to 66 to 17 to 95. Has anyone recently rode these roads and what is the general condition? Any input would be appreciated!

We just came north that way Dec 1st,...but I actually came up 95 to 17( still runs slow at 95 & 17 due to the ongoing construction) to 66..to 81....then went 78 to 22 to 33 to 80 to 209 and up 209 to 84 at the tri-state area....getting on 84 at the river..last Pa exit....no traffic coming up 209 at all...the construction on the 84 bridge between Pa and NY is all completed...Chuck- Thanks to all for the information. Sounds like the route is in good shape and less hectic than I95!
Bob - I-95 in VA is in pretty good shape. Did both directions back aroung T'giving, and apart from some moderate to heavy NB traffic that I noticed while I was SB, the road conditions were good. You should have no problems.
- Just came north that way last week, everything was good. I did try 87 north to 84 and I liked that better then 684.
That one spot on 17 near 95 still ain't finished yet. - Where are you headed??
