Colorado highway conditions are slightly better than Afghanistan ... maybe. :(
Edit - ok, now that I've exposed my grumpy old man attitude ... yeah, I-70 east and westbound between Denver and Vail, at least, has been improved last year. In the past, the slow lanes up Eisenhower Pass on both sides were so bad that they felt like they were destroying my suspension. The repaving helped a lot. But, no telling how bad the winter travel made them bad again. It's endless cycle of patch and destroy and patch and destroy on these highways.
But all honesty, after returning home from an extended South West USA trip last spring, Colorado highways were the worst of the whole trip.
