roads and weather in alaska
HI We're planning on leaving for Ak in about a week,which should put us in Ak about mid June. I've heard theres still snow,slippery roads and cold weather up there. . Can anyone give me a heads up...

Northwest of Whitehorse the Alaska Highway is bare & dry. Sun is shining, snow is gone from the lower elevations, yesterday the temperature was 72F in the shade. Our forecast is better than it is for central & southern B.C.
But last weekend there was snow overnight.
With this much change in a week, I'm not willing to predict the weather 3-4 weeks from now.
