We left Panama City Beach 3/22, traveled across I-10 and up the coast. We are in Prince George, BC heading for Hazelton, Iskut then Whitehorse. Expect to be in Seward AK by 6/15 for 6 weeks.
When we heard about the bridge that collapsed in WA we realized we had crossed the week before ... makes you wonder about all the other bridges that have been neglected.
DH is navy retired and I'm an Army Brat so in addition to local attractions we search for VFW, American Legions, AMVETS or Fleet Reserves. Didn't have much luck in the states except near military bases, but found a few Royal Canadian Legions since we crossed into BC.
