Being singled out because of geography, Oklahoma being close to Texas, reminds me of something that happened a few years ago when crossing INTO the US.
At that time I wasn't a Canadian citizen and traveled with my British passport.
"You have a British passport, you'll have to go in for further examination"
"Why is that"-me
"Well, Britain is part of the Commonwealth?"
"Yes??" me
"Pakistan is also part of the Commonwealth"
"Um Yes???"
"Well, we are at war with Pakistan!"
"No you're not, you're at war with Iraq and Afghanistan" -me
"It's all the same country!!"
At that point, I gave up, but they did let me in after finger printing me!
