We are heading south, I guess everything is south from now on ;) to Whitehorse for a few days and then into B.C. before heading north again to Yellowknife. I'll post up some notes on the roads, but that changes daily up here it seems!
On the journey south on the Dempster we pushed pretty far after leaving Inuvik and the sun was from the west on the mountains bringing out spires and tors that we wouldn't have seen if we had stayed at Eagle Plains overnight.Forecast was for rain on day 2 of the drive, so we pushed. I am extremely glad we did even though today was sunny in Dawson City. I think the Dempster is one of those roads you could drive every day for years and see something new every time, by changing time of day and weather.
