Route from new Orleans to Beaumont tx
Has anyone used rt.90 from new Orleans to Baumont TX rather than go over the bridge at Baton Rouge? How is the road for s 30' tt?

What day of the week and time will you be crossing? East to west is best direction. Neither direction is good 7-9 am and 3-7 pm. Backups can be expected any time Od day. You could get off on Airline hey when entering B R cross what we call the old bridge the get back on the interstate at hwy 415 which is just about 5 miles on the other side of the river. Personally I would go through BR all the way and take my chances.
