RV blown over near St Marys, Alberta

We stayed at the lower St Marys campground near Cardston, Alberta this past week. Last night a large TH came through and left, assuming they didn't find a campsite since the park was full. When they got to the top of the hill and turned onto the roadway the TH and TV were blown over the guardrail by gusty winds from some T-storms moving through the area.
Just wondered if anyone on here knew who they were and if they were ok.
  • I couldn't find any info either. Wife and her friend went up there and took a pic, wasn't sure if I should post it.
  • So scary! We were going to leave in the afternoon but waited til after 9 when the warnings ended. I hope the people are ok.
  • Welcome to living in Southern Alberta. Lots of days like that during the year. Be careful and pull over and wait it out is the best thing to do. We get as many semis and rv in the ditch in wind storms as icy and snowy in the winter.
  • My buddy was caught up in that wind storm in his TH. He had to pull over and got a friend with a semi/rv convert to come pick his rig up.
  • Happens all the time in Southern Alberta.. Semi's too..
  • What an awful thing to happen. It doesn't sound good but I pray they were alright.
