Think you should contact the provincial tourism departments in each province that you plan on traveling through. We did trip thru BC,YK, and NT last summer and the info we got from each province was quite helpful. Go to google.com or some other search engine and enter the name of a province that you're interested in and see what info is available. We found that the CA folks spare no expense when it comes to providing you with travel info, they are really friendly and want you to enjoy all they have to offer.
