RV Loans & titles

I know BC is diferent as you do not have title. Has anyone had any issues taking an RV into mexico when there is a loan against it and you just have the registration that does not indicate a lien.
  • If the registration or document presented to Aduana has the words LIEN HOLDER and the name of the finance company or bank, you will need a permit from the lender to take the unit out of the country.

If the documents being presented to the Aduana do not have any other name or lien holder then Aduana will not know that the vehicle is financed.

That thread is on the "general" forum and not the Mexico Forum so Mexico RVers may not ever see it. We only come here for the Mexico forum.

    What is your point?

  • "I know BC is diferent as you do not have title."

That isn't different than most jurisdictions.
  • Just registration is all we have ever needed.
If it does not indicate a lean, how would they know there is a lean? Should be no problem getting permit with the name of registered owner as long as he or she is present. yes no??
