RV travel across Canada during these lockdown times

It's probably anyone's guess how they will treat you considering the rules seem to change on the fly but....

Do you have the Canadian version of a CDL (Commercial Drivers License)?
Are you being paid to make the delivery?

If you have both of those, you have a strong case, that it's a commercial delivery and that you are not just using a technicality to try and get around the rules.

If you are really on vacation and just got a discount on a one way trip, I could see an ornery official turning you around.

PS: Odd item, I was looking on Google Maps...is there really only one road that crosses from Ontario to Manitoba? (the other provincial borders have multiple roads crossing, so you could try a different one if you get turned away)

Would be best to call somebody official who can give you a straight answer. It's a 2000 mile round trip if you get turned back.

If you are Canadians, and your not leaving Canada there is nothing to worry about. Why would there be? If you are an american doing this you should be worried. Many stories of transits through Canada which turned into sightseeing trips to Banff (etc) and been busted by RMP.

Our friends in Ontario tell us even the province to province boarder is being shut down but I'm not sure about the western provinces.

So depending on how serious they take it, it could be an issue.

When Canada is ready for us Americans to return we shall. Take your time and be as safe as you can be.

here in Ottawa we have five bridges and two ferries to the Quebec side.

Less than two days after the Ontario government’s latest COVID-19 restrictions came into effect, calling for non-essential traffic to be stopped at the province’s borders with Quebec and Manitoba, the Ottawa Police Service has announced it is stopping its 24-hour checkpoints.

According to a statement issued by the service Tuesday evening, the around-the-clock border checkpoints were set to end as of 8 p.m. on Tuesday in favour of rotating checkpoints across the city throughout the day until Ontario’s temporary regulations end.

This could change at any time.
Don't leave home without being 100% sure.

You can travel out of Ontario to the West without issue.

BTW the Provincial borders are NOT shut down. Coming into Ontario from Manitoba could be an issue but going West will not - the OPP are monitoring that. Same with the Quebec - Ontario border. Ottawa police stopped doing checks on Monday so it is open. British Columbia is cracking down though with the stay at home orders.

The Third Wave is proving to be stubborn particularly with the variants. Check Province to Province for local restrictions.

Passing through should not be an issue.

Ontario to Manitoba seems to be anon issue however the OPP are stopping all traffic into Ontario from Manitoba. Quebec into Ontario in Ottawa isn't as stringent, currently.
