S.AR to Lake Claiboure,LA

Question

This will be our first time to visit this St. park. Looking at the map, there are two routes we could take. Go south of El Dorado AR to Homer and take a left or go all the way down to Bernice and go right. Has anyone traveled this before? We tow a 35' fiver. Thanks in advance for any help! Lynn

Rather than going to Homer on 79 why not just stay on 167 out of Eldorado thru Junction City on to Bernice?  Better road and not as curvy as 79.  Lake Claiborne SP is a beautiful place.  Hope you enjoy it.

Well, we did just what Kit recommended. Went to Bernice and turned right. Good road and no trouble at all. The lake and campground are just beautiful. Here is a pic or the swim beach and picnic area.
