- Tom_BarbExplorerI-10 to I-5 to Route 20 around the lakes, and thru Canada :)
- CA_TravelerExplorer IIIVery clever Tom. A shorter route would be straight north to Canada and east.
But we love 101 along the coast to BC and it's a wonderful trip. - stickdogExplorerJust drive and don't worry, "que sera sera".
- BB_TXNomadIn an average year there are 80 tornado deaths. In that same average year there are well over 40,000 auto accident deaths. And yet you don’t seem to be concerned about longer highway miles.
You can monitor the weather and stop short of, or drive past, the area where storms are in the immediate forecast. Just go and don’t worry about it. - TexasShadowExplorer IIditto to monitor the weather forecast ahead of your route.. use the weather channel app on your phone.. and if you see bad weather ahead, wait a day to let it pass on ahead of you. we have avoided sleet storms and tornado storms several times by letting it get ahead of us.
- I would drive 1-40 but if you really want an alternate - all interstates, 10 to 20 to 30 to 40 to 65 to 71. That takes you to Cleveland and you know how to go from there.
- JRscoobyExplorer IIThere is a place in Fla where you can donate money. If you ask, and donate enough, you can get a Sharpe to change weather patterns.
