Salt Lake City to Richfield UT

I see 2 alternate routes to take: I-15 to I-70 east, or exiting I-15 to UT 28 at Nephi, connecting to US 89 south, then to I-70 east of Richfield. Has anyone driven the latter route towing? Any issues? I note this one is marked scenic, as opposed to the interstate. TIA!

    UT-28 is a two-laner, which looks like it should be OK. Another route is the 15 to the 50 to the 89 to the 70.

    We did this route several years ago and UT 28 and 89 was nice 2 lane road going through several towns. Pleasant, easy drive just slow. I-15 to I-70 is pretty fast since its 80 MPH but not a bad route either.
