SR 166
Currently at Flying Flags in Buellton, CA. I'm thinking about taking SR 166 from Santa Maria to Maricopa then SR 33 North to SR 41 then over to I 5 home. I will be towing a 33' 5er, how's the road. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks

- When we lived in Bakersfield we usually took 119 to 33 to Maricopa and 166 on into Santa Maria. I would cut over to I-5 on 119. 33 passed 119 is OK if you like driving thru the oil fields.
You do have a long downgrade prior to Maricopa, but we never had a problem when we had our truck & trailer. Dick - 41 and 33 are 2 lane roads. If you want 4 lanes hit I-5 asap on 166.
