Landowners affected by the construction of the Durango-Mazatlán superhighway announced the resumption of the works carried out in this cavalcade, having cashed an injunction for suspension thereof on May 31 this year.
The legal representative of the peasants, Ernesto Perez Virgin, said finally reached agreements with both state authorities and with the Secretariat of Communications and Transportation (SCT) to ease the movement that started 13 days ago on the section between km 130 and 157 of this road.
He said above came after a meeting held with Secretary General of Government, Jaime Fernandez Saracho and where there were several commitments.
Lady Perez announced that there was willingness to reach agreements for compensation of ejidatarios and that the negotiations were for the good of all involved.
