Could the name of the place you mentioned be TEXAS PRIDE? My son and daughter-in-law took us there and it was really good. I am not sure exactly where it is but is out in the country.

Texas Pride is east of SA . Not sure which highway. Maybe 1601. This was one of three places that was featured on Diners, Drive=ins and Dives that I have been to. No impressed a bit. Place was filthy greasy and in my opinion the food was not that good.
