We returned from our Alaska adventure two nights ago, after two months on the road. It was awesome. Thanks to people here,, we pretty much knew what difficulties there might be. W e actually had none. Well, next time we'll cover the bicycles so they don't get crusted in road dust lol.

We loved the provincial and government parks, we're patient with the road construction, and the people we met along the way were - at worst - very friendly, and - at best - extremely interesting. Photos and stories to follow

Not really but I only ever use an iPad and I post pictures one right after the other; I just find that easier for me. I just leave the post open and download them from a second page on Safari from my web photo host or Tiny Pic's.

Sometimes when I flip between tabs to add a new photo, I lose what I already placed in the post; unless I post and then edit with the new photo.

Met a woman in a smal gift shop: it was her 70th birthday, and she was telling us how she got to Alaska: seems she was the Minnesota pool champion when she was young, and she made her way north to Alaska as a pool hustler. Claimed to own 29 tracts of land in the area, all of which she won shooting pool. Also wrote a book:
