The Best Time to Buy a New Trailer in *Ontario*.

A friend needs a new trailer by late next spring, he has a decent idea of what he wants so is now shopping price as there is more then one dealer/add offering the model(s).
I am wondering what other people'speople's experience is with the best time of the year to get a good deal.

The best time is when you find what you want and can buy it at a price you are comfortable with.

Right now..... dealers have to move the 16's to make room for the 2017's

Also depends on the price of the US dollar. Almost anything out there will vary as soon as the Canadian $ drops or rises since most RV's available in Canada are made in the USA.

There is a lot to think of about this. If he is looking at trailers that have aged through the winter versus getting one in the fall and putting it under cover, that might make a difference. In this part of Canada business really picks up in the fall, people are looking to head south in the winter, and getting a new rig about then is important.

Now is a good time to start.
When I bought mine I started shopping in Sept, letting them know I was serious. Went back early Oct. and the price was $5000 cheaper.
This was a few years ago.
