Im giving Goodsams trip planner a try from Ashland, NH to Virginia Beach, VA and it's going right thur the middle of NYC., What? I'm sure they have't tried that

I'd probably go I-84 (the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge) to I-87 to I-287 if I were making the trip. The Tappan Zee is not a completely unreasonable option, though. In my opinion, going through the middle of NYC with an RV unnecessarily is unreasonable.
