traffic lineups on WB hwy16 into Jasper

I was in Jasper last week and thought I'd let everyone know that they are working on the bridges east of Jasper and it's one lane traffic. It wasn't so bad going east but going west It was lined up to the park gates, I've heard people talking about 2.5hrs to get through. I've never seen a line of traffic that long.

    Bridge work is everywhere on the highways.

    I just ran to Vancouver and back to Calgary this past weekend and there was bridge work everywhere.

    I just sit back and enjoy the ride. I did get delayed pretty bad yesterday afternoon about 30K east of Golden. Was dead stopped in several miles of traffic for no apparent reason and then it just opened back up again.

    Sure did see one massive pile of RV's on the road!

    Come to Pennsylvania, you'll see road work/construction and lots of traffic back ups or line ups.
    Often, and unfortunately, these things can't be avoided.

    it's roadwork season.stay off #5 between merrit and hope,they're doing bridge decks there too.
