Traveling east on US 264 off I 95 north at Wilson N.C.
Need some info from campers who have traveled US 264 east at Wilson N.C. after existing I95.
We are heading to the Outer Banks in a few weeks and looking to save a little time by taking 264 east at Wilson N.C. instead of going up to 64 east at Rocky Mount N.C. Looks like we can take 264 east to CR 11/ US 13 to 64 east then on out to the coast.
We have normally taken 64 east in the past... just looking for anyone who has traveled this route pulling a camper and your impressions of the trip.
Checked online trip routes/ distances but didn't see 264 mentioned as an alternative.
