Trip Planning: Sacramento to Lincoln, NE

Hello All....we would like to plan a trip this summer to see DW family in Lincoln, NE from Sacramento area. We are wondering if anyone has made this trip and if so, any recommendations and what RV Parks/Campgrounds, etc. you stayed at along the way and back.
We are going to take I-80 all the way. Any idea's and recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

We have been across Nebraska several times and would recommend the following additions to the above if they happen to fit your travels:

Country View Campground in Ogalalla
Holiday RV Park in North Platte

We also liked the Grand Island KOA, already mentioned.

We've driven I-80 between Utah and Illinois many, many times. Stayed in all sorts of CGs, from private ones to state parks. Some we have liked:

Kearney State Rec. Area, Kearney NE
Grand Island KOA
Cheyenne KOA (our rig we had at the time didn't fit in AB Camping)
Lyman KOA (sw Wyoming)
SLC KOA

Others worth considering:

Rock Springs (WY) KOA
Cabela's in Sidney NE (has a FHU CG behind it)
Kearney RV Park

Last year we left our home base in Reno for a trip to WI and made these stops on I-80 before Lincoln;

Angels Lake RV Park in Wells, NV

Phillips RV Park, Evanston, WY

AB Camping & RV Park, Cheyenne, WY

Kearney RV Park & Campground, Kearney, NB

All nice and worked fine as we used them for overnights...except in Cheyenne where we got snowed in for a couple of days.
