US-219 between Buffalo NY and Washington DC?

Can you please advise whether US-219 (between Buffalo NY and Washington DC) is a decent route for a 34' travel trailer to be pulled?

We are wanting to avoid low bridges/tunnels and other conditions not ideal for towing a travel trailer.

Is there a better route between the two cities?

    I don't know about the route you're proposing. We're in Rochester and use 390 which turns into Route 15. We've never had a problem towing a 5th wheel (12' tall) with 4 bikes on top of the truck. Google shows it adds less than 20 minutes and 20 miles to the trip from the Buffalo area. Of course Google's not always correct! :)
