Which is easier to do. We must go to Nanamio BC on Vancouver Is. coming from I-5 is it better to take the Tsawwasen to Duke point or the Horse shoe to Nanaimo ferries?

Cost is the same, but the city driving is a worry. CD # 1 ??

Definitely Tsawwassen, without a doubt. Also investigate the US ferries as they are generally much easier at the border crossings. Anacortes to Sydney is also a pretty nice ride.

One thing to watch with the Anacortes ferry is the tide, particularly with a longer rig. Best to go nearer a half moon tide than a full or new moon for the ramps can get steep.

We aren't taking the coach, just the jeep and trailer.

Anacortes to Sidney is a summer run only. (starts in May I believe).

Port Angles to Victoria (Black Ball) is Out of service until end of Feb. (Maintenance)

This is what I thought, we are pulling a trailer and didn't want to go thru Vancouver city with it unless it was easier. ........ . Tsawwassen it is.. .. ๐Ÿ™‚

Lots more sailings to Duke Pt than to Sidney. And it is fast divided highway from Duke Pt. to the main NS highway.
