Anyone travel hwy 14 between The Dalles and Stevenson? Are the tunnels ok for a large 5th wheel? My rig is 13.2'
I will be going to the Timberlake Campground near Stevenson. Would it be best to just stay on I-84 and cross the river at the Bridge of the Gods.
Thanks...Tony

It would probably be faster to take the interstate, but not as scenic. 14 is a beautiful leisurely drive

You will have no problems. Tunnels can handle your rig without any issues. Watch your lane control in them. When possible go through without large truck coming other direction. Makes some people nervous!
WA 14 has some great scenery. Large pull off down stream from Bonneville Dam. Great place for lunch break!
