Good route to see a lot, but you might want to reverse it. Double check the Top of the World Highway for condition. Many times there will be closures due to snow or mudslides in very early June. If TOW is closed, I think the ferry over the Yukon River may also not be running. Excessive ice in the river due to breakup further upstream can also delay the opening of the ferry. You'll see a lot of the lakes through Canada will be partially ice covered. Back in 2006 we ran TOW in late August and the colors were spectacular. The tundra and high plateaus move into fall very early. We go up every 2nd year.
