Thanks for all of the tips. Unfortunately some of them don't apply to us as we have a motorhome, not a travel trailer or a 5th wheel. The electric heaters are the portable kind so we can use less propane when the heat pumps no longer work. I will be sure to keep the propane full as well as the diesel fuel tank. We have traveled some in cold weather and have had the water pump freeze up while traveling, temps in the low 20's. I think that if I leave the basement vents open and run the propane heater some while we travel I can keep the water pump from freezing. We have a light bulb attached right under it so when we have power the bulb keeps the area warm enough.
Don't look forward to the trip but have to go to get some work done. We do have time so we can lay over if necessary due to inclement weather. Thanks again and ya'll travel safe.
