- dedmistonModeratorSuch an ugly thread. I'm tempted to move it back to Tech Issues so they can deal with it. :B
OP: Arguing with nice people on the internet is bad for you. - pianotunaNomad IIIHi,
Or you could go here for under $12 per night including water and power.

My thoughts exactly. In general cost is low on my list of criteria for choosing a CG - BillyBob_JimExplorer

Personally I would never spend $100 to spend a night at a Campground.. Maybe that thinking is why I OWN this 200k combo. :B
Impressive.
They can usually squeeze you in high falutin places like below for less than $20 per night. - Two_JayhawksExplorerHi Tom, You are an avid experienced RVer & you also mention you stay at KOA's frequently. Suggestion, install the KOA free app on your phone & you'll never be surprised with a rate again. I just checked the KOA you stayed at on my phone for kicks & is says $95 per night- took 10 seconds. :B

Mike - docsouceExplorer IIStayed at the St. Mary/East Glacier KOA Holiday on the 4th of July 2 years ago. 4 nights, cost me $135. $55 for 3 nights at the Durant/Chocktaw Casino. Used my KOA value card points. Just built up points from all KOA Journey campgrounds we stayed at. For the most part we enjoy KOA and our choice is to continue to use their campgrounds. And if there is a campground that honors Passport America in the area we will use it also.
- dodge_guyExplorer III’ve apent more than that a night. However where I stay is not where someone will stay that thinks $40 a night is too much. It’s all in the eye of the beholder.
- ExpyinflightExplorerUnlike some here, we have had excellent results with KOA. Easy to determine the cost before arrival, etc. Very few complaints.
I figure if there are that many that don't like KOA, it just makes it easier for those of us that do to find a spot. Just left the KOA in Santa Fe, New Mexico this morning after spending two nights there. Sure, the cost was a bit higher than some. We anticipated that, and will gladly return.
