Mr. Camper, I don't think that's many minuses. It's a State Park. None of the State Parks that I've visited have individual water hookups or sewer hookups and very few have had 50 Amp service.
If you think that is a lot of minues - you better not try camping at an Ontario Provincial Park! Bigger bucks for less bang than NY S.P.'s

magnusfide, Thanks for the tip. I just submitted the review and hopefully it will be accepted and others then can read and make their decision.

I thought I would make a post about 4 Mile Creek State Park on Lake Ontario in Youngstown, NY for those of you that have considered camping there or are considering camping there. My wife and I, along with another couple spent three nights there recently and it was an awesome campground. Although it's a NY State Campground, it had the feel of a private Campground minus sewer and water hookups and only 30 Amp service on about half of the sites. The roadways within the campground are all paved. Our site was number 25 (outside part of loop and woods behind us)and was HUGE! I measured it to be 60 feet wide X 90 feet deep with gravel where your rig is parked and grass on the rest of the site. There are enough trees to provide shade but it's a very open campground so there's a lot of sunshine area too. I've never camped where the sites were so big before. It was also extremely level. There was no need to level left or right. Just front to back and even then, I only had to raise the jack about an inch. the campground accommodates everything from tents to Class A motor homes and is pet friendly. The sunset over Lake Ontario was very impressive and we had a beautiful view of Toronto. Parking at other nearby State Parks (Niagara Falls and Old Fort Niagara) is free for campers at 4 Mile Creek. If you're a history buff, Old Fort Niagara is about three miles away and fun to learn about the war of 1812. Niagara Falls is about 15 minutes away. The only negative was the camp store wasn't very impressive but you're close enough to major retailers that it wouldn't be a problem. Highly recommended for all types of campers!

We stayed there in 2011 and agree! The only thing you didn't say was that if you stay at Four Mile Creek State Park you get free parking at Niagra Falls because it's also a state park.
