40' motorhome camping close to yosemite nat. park
We would like to visit Yosemite NP after the middle of August and are looking for parks that would accommodate 40' MH's. Recommendations would be welcome. Thanks.

- You didn't note which entrance you want to be close to but Mono Vista has sites that will fit your rig: Mono Vista Lee Vining
Some options near Mariposa too: Mariposa The fairgrounds are nice if you only want partial hookups. Indian Flat will also accommodate your rig (as long as you can maneuver in tight places) Indian Flat - KOA Mariposa if you can get in
We stayed there for a week a few months ago - Yosemite Ridge Resort is Hwy 120 about 10 miles west of the west entrance to Yosemite and Yosemite Pines is on Hwy 120 in Groveland (about 20 miles from the west entrance). Both have spaces for 40' rigs.

X2 on these. I prefer Yosemite Ridge, more rock, less exposed dirt.
