DW was wondering if this is worth going to? Is there enough there to spend a day or 2 or 3. What else might be in the area to visit?

I was also wondering what campgrounds would be in the area that you would recommend staying at. We could get by with either a basic campground or something with more bells and whistles as long as it is nice, it will just be the two of us going

Thanks,
Mike

We've been to the fair twice and liked it a lot. One day is enough to see the fair. The League of NH Craftsman create some great works of art. Lake Sunapee is right there and it's very picturesque. Quechee gorge is nw of there and is worth seeing. You could spend a couple of days in the general area easily.
