Amistad
We are heading toward Del Rio and I noticed that there were 3 or 4 campgrounds at the Amistad. We are mostly interesting in birding. Do you have a favorite campground in the area. Thanks

- Another vote for South Llano. They have some nice blinds set up for birding. We've driven past Amistad a number of times, it looks kind of bleak. Seminole Canyon SP is nearby and is pretty nice.
- As mentioned So Llano is good for birding. At Amistad we prefer spur 406 CG. Vault toilets and no water. Water and dump is near Governors Landing.
- On the way there, you could check out South Llano River SP Texas.
