And could we get away with not taking a toad or is parking at the venues really tight.

We have stayed at both the KOA and the Renfro Valley one. Would defiantly pick the Renfro Valley one at the venue. It is one of the nicest ones we have stayed at. Love the fact that you can just walk out your door and go to all the attractions. We enjoyed having dinner at the restaurant across the road for some good home cooking. We hope to go back sometime in the future.

Stayed at the KOA a long time ago. Was nice. Started staying at the Renfro Valley RV Park and thar was great. Used to just walk up to the shops and shows.

From the Renfro Valley website their park received 4 stars at Woodalls. Can walk to venues.

Personally I would stay at their park.

You can camp right on the grounds at their park and walk to any of the shows or stay right down the road about a mile at the KOA. If you stay at the KOA you would have to drive back and forth and parking can be tight. Depending on how big the show is, they will be directing traffic in gravel lot and it would be tight. Either one of those campgrounds is fine, but the one on the grounds would be more convenient. Neither are anything to write home about
