Anyone Been To Killbear Lately?

Question

Hello all,I've booked a family trip for a week at Killbear in July. I grew up camping there but haven't been for some time now, I heard they did a lot of tree cutting last year due to beach bark disease. We are staying in Blind Bay site 731 to be exact. I was wondering if anyone has recently stayed in the area we will be in and can tell me how the site looks? It's hard to tell with the pictures on the reservation website. Thanks!

I have not been in many years, but I recall that someone saying that the cutting was limited to one campground.  Unfortunately I do not recall which one it was.  In the one campground it was quite extensive (nearly clear cut) but the other campgrounds were untouched.

I know that Blind Bay had some cut down, but I also heard another one got it the worst I'm not sure which one either.
