Anyone Use Knightsbridge For US Currency
If so have you been happy with their services? Presently use Canadian Snowbird but as they only do this once per month perhaps this is a better option

- I was going to sign up, but the minimum at the time was $5,000. Now I believe they have dropped it to $2,000. I will likely sign up now.

The reason for using Knightsbridge is the better rate of exchange, does Western Union give you the same better rate as Knightsbridge?- We used to use Western Union (xe.com) but their rates have become non competitive. However they are very easy to use. Knightsbridge have very good rates. But I don't know if you can use them online. Be aware that currency exchanges are not subject to bank rules. If they issue you a check and it is NSF you have zero protection. Don't ask me how I learned this!!!!
Moisheh - Kinightsbridge interacts directly with the banks for free transfers, they don't issue cheques.
- Do they interact with CDN banks or US banks or both. i.e. where is destination account for currency exchanged.
- Yesterday I clicked a link to see how rates compare with banks and it asked for my email. I thought they would send me the rates. I've already received two spams from them.

depens on the amount you trade. My rate on 5000 is about 1.3% above the current prime rate. Don't trade after the markets close for the day or on weekends as they add about 1% to the rates. The advantage is you trade when you want. Not when they want. Snowbirds buy at differnt times but it could be when the dollar is not at it's best. Don't know about knightsbridge.
