Apache-Sitgreaves NF, Hannagan Campgrounds, AZ

Anybody ever use or see the small National Forest campgrounds in the Apache-Sitgreaves NF on SR161 near Hannagan Meadow, on the Coronado Trail in eastern Arizona? We're looking to spend a couple of days there in mid September. Should be somewhat cold at night. They say the campsites are for up to a 16' trailer, are they really that small? Ours is a 21', about 25' hitch ball to rear bumper.
  • Thanks Harold, looks like Luna Lake is the place to stay.
  • Yes they are that small. A better choice would be Luna lake campground just 4 miles east of Alpine. Larger sites and well spaced out. Trailers up to 32ft.
