Apalachicola Campgrounds

We have had to change our vacation plans due to some trailer technical issues. We are looking to book either Ho Hum, Carabella or Coastline RV resort. Any suggestions on which one? Will also be cancelling a week at St Joseph Peninsula state park Sunday may 6 to Sunday may 13. Message me if you are interested in the next day or two and we can arrange a time when I will cancel.
  • HoHum is right on the Gulf and the sunrises can't be beat. Sites are close to each other and it's really nothing more than a parking lot, but we really enjoyed it. If you can get a spot facing the Gulf, there aren't many places that are better.

  • Agree about Ho Hum. We went last June and are going again this June. If you need anything to do other than read, relax, walk the shoreline, fish, or watch the sunset, then it's not the place for you...LOL
  • We've stayed at Ho Hum and Carrabelle and they are both very good. If you like the layed back fishing camp there is Indian Pass back the other way (west) of Apalachicola and it has miles of beach and St. Vincents island is right across the bay. There is a ferry that takes you from the camp across the bay to it.
