Buffalo Bay Campground at Legendary Waters Resort also operates a remote campground called Point Detour “Wilderness” Campground. There are no services. But I think they have several portable toilets.
My first stay at Buffalo Bay, there was no new casino. The Ojibway fellow running the campground mentioned the “singing sands” at Point Detour. So with a reservation map I dodged porcupine and deer and found the place. You can really rub your palm over the sand and it make sounds. I thought that was really cool.
