Fool Hollow State Park in the white mountains. Catalina State Park north of Tucson. Dead Horse State Park. There's a host of parks, consult Good Sam.

Do you want to head out towards Tucson? There is a nice Escapees campground in Benson. It is a short drive from there to Tombstone. I was there in the November - many years ago, and the weather is pleasant that time of year. If you want to go camping this summer, and don't want to camp in 100F weather, check out Flagstaff area, and higher elevations. Sedona is fairly high elevation, but check weather.com and see what it will look like next month! Next weekend will be crowded. Because many people will like a vacation to a place like Grand Canyon with a 3 day weekend, it will be busy from now until June 5th. Then kids will get out of school and it will be busy all summer.If you go to the North Rim, you can stay in the campground there - it should not be warm enough to need A/C, and it is dry camping. I personally would park out in the forest, and dry camp. I have a 400W solar system, and can stay 3 weeks until I run out of fresh water.Tucson air museum is wonderful place to visit, if it is below 85F. So not this time of year. Check Saguaro Park, I don't think they have hookups, but it is a wonderful place to visit in the winter.Have fun camping!Fred.

My favorite is Apache Trout campground at Big Lake. Great for summer at about 8000 feet. You may have to wait until next year for reservations, as everyone else likes it too.

The majority of the parks recommended so far have been state parks. Check the AZ State Parks website. It has a home page for each park with details on what's available, what there is to see & do, maps of the parks and you can make your reservations online.

Down load the Good Sam App. It will list all the campgrounds on a map plus tell you what's there to do. I use it all the time, works great.

Don't miss Patagonia Lake and Roper Lake State parks as well as all of those mentioned above. Cattail Cove, north of Buckskin Mountain SP is another option if you want to be up on the Colorado River.

Catalina State Park near Tucson, AZ......a great Park with water/elect and probably the cleanest restrooms I've ever come across(showers included) bar none. I'm not one to use CG restrooms but these were exceptional!

We fell in love with the Sedona area when we visited last summer. There is just something about those Red Rocks. We had an excellent stay at Rancho Sedona.

We've stayed in every Arizona state park. They're all awesome and all have electric. Lost Dutchman is probably our favorite because we volunteered there.

Some forest service campground on 'The Rim' have electric.

Maricopa County campgrounds are great...big sites...lush Sonoran desert landscaping...and electric. Usery, McDowell Mountain, Cave Creek are favorites.
