best campgrounds for halloween near md

Hi I am looking for a good campground in md va or pa for Halloween for myself, wife, and two daughters 6 and 2. We have been going to Hershey campground for the last 5 years and wanted to see if any places are better.
  • JellyStone in Hagerstown does a good job, but pricey. We live 5.8miles from there and even with gas it's cheaper to go elsewhere. We did last Halloween at the Yogi Bear in Natural Bridge and it was outstanding. Harpers Ferry KOA has lots of events for Halloween but its a little tight for my preference.
  • Trap Pond SP, DE. The regulars there go crazy decorating their sites. It really is something to see.

This. We have been to several of the more active campgrounds in the greater Lancaster area, and some of them treat Halloween like it's Marti Gras. Weeks of decorating, parades, blow out parties for the short ones. Have fun!

  • Check Deer run CG in Pa, new owner this year did have a nice one before

    Jellystone in Hagerstown

We've only spent 2 Halloweens at campgrounds. Jellystone in Hagerstown, MD and Circle M in Millersville, PA.

Both were a good time, but I think Jellystone had the advantage of being a little gooder of a time.
