Hey everyone, we are doing Washington and the Oregon coast this summer and I am looking for recommendations for a great RV resort (kid friendly)and close to a lake in Washington state. Looking at staying near Port Angeles but open to other areas. Thanks in advance!

Millersylvania also has a lake. No lakefront camping, however.

There are so many it's hard to name just a couple.
Lake Easton would be a great choice and is only an hour from Seattle. Farther away but equally nice is our favorite park; Wenatchee Confluence.
With any of the state parks your going to want to make reservations NOW!

Lake Quinault has a nice campground, Closer to Port Angeles is Sequim Bay State Park, Fort Worden in Port Townsend is very nice with lots of history plus the town is one of the neatest in Washington. Dosewalliips State Park is on Hoods Canal, very nice.

Interesting to see the Lake Cushman site. We were considering that area for sometime in September. I do have to say that this is the first campground I have run across that charges a pet fee.

Might take a look at Lake Cushman...
Only 20a hookups but I can assure you that you won't need air conditioning.
