Lonches are like a small sub sandwich which is stuffed with meat, cheese, cabbage, avacodo, and probably some other stuff. Deep fried, they can be delicious. - ChooChooMan74Explorer

Sounds like it's similar to a Chimichanga. Verdad? - missourigalExplorerEveryone will probably think we are crazy but the best ones we have found is just down the side street from Angels..a little green building on the street. We would never have gone there but another winter texan couple took us there probably 5 years ago. we go there probably 10 times during the winter and so far never had any problems and they are really good.

Went there today and they were very good. I think it is called, "Texitas" or something like that. We were introduced to it by Carlos, the maker of great Margaritas at "Uncle Sam's". - CdnCreekersExplorerThe absolute best lonches, bar none, are at Viktor's. It's the fried onions they add that make the difference.
Viktor's is a roadside stand, with seating. From the bridge, turn left at either the first or second street, and his is the last booth on the left. We've been going there for six years. - TomG2ExplorerThe people in our park are split evenly between Viktor's and Texitas. Viktors is east of the main street and Texitas is west. I never even looked at the street vendors until I discovered Lonches.
- dontexasExplorerI am a frequent Lonches eater and the absolute best are at The Iguana.......
